Middle School Teacher Becomes Poker Pro Mark Gregorich

Mark Gregorich has been making his living playing high-limit money games since the mid-90s, but previously followed in the footsteps of his parents, working as a high school teacher. When budget cuts cost him his job, he decided to move to Las Vegas, where he has been working ever since.

Gregorich, who came in by his peers as one of the best men in the game, was also voted an Omaha player eight or better visit dewapoker. In fact, his skills in the game were so adored that Doyle Brunson asked him to contribute to his book Super System II. Although he has always preferred tournament kids games, Washington-raised Gregorich does have a solid record in the World Series of Poker, with the last 11 table appearances.
